Chonky Angel Kitty

When I first started painting a few years ago, I wasn’t very good at it, but I didnt really mind. Painting was just a fun hobby that helped me relax and let me bring the silly things that pop into my mind into the physical world. As I’ve progressed into painting it has slowly become more of a full time passion to get better and better at it. I’ve spent the last few years practicing things I struggle with, learning new techniques and mediums and refining my style. There’s almost nothing that feels better than looking back at a piece I did a year ago and being able to see how far I’ve come since then. All that being said, sometimes I get so caught up in improving, I forget why I started painting in the first place; it’s just super fun. After painting that mural I felt like making something purely for fun. Here is the first thing that popped into my head, a chubby angel cat, painted in one session. It was super fun and silly and it makes me laugh. If you like it too, let me know. Chonky Cherub 20″×20″ Acrylic on canvas Sold!
